What is the wool and cashmere half zip made of?

A blend of merino wool and cashmere. The merino gives strength and shape, the cashmere gives softness and warmth. You get most of the feel of cashmere in a sweater that takes more wear.

Half zip or crewneck?

A half zip gives you a collar and a short zip, so it looks a little more dressed and lets you adjust the warmth. A crewneck is simpler and sits better under a blazer. Many of our customers own one of each in the same material.

How warm is a wool and cashmere half zip?

Warmer than merino, a little less warm than pure cashmere. Under a coat it works through a Swedish winter, and on its own it covers autumn and spring.

Half zip sweaters in wool and cashmere

Our wool cashmere half zips are knitted in 90 % extra fine merino wool and 10 % cashmere. The merino gives the sweater strength and shape, the cashmere gives it a softer surface and a little more warmth. A half zip with a collar you can wear open over a shirt or closed on its own.

Why 90/10?

Merino wool regulates temperature and breathes, so the sweater works from September to May. The cashmere adds softness without making it delicate. The yarn is machine washable on a wool programme, which makes it one of the easiest sweaters in the collection to live with.
