Cashmere or merino hoodie, which should I choose?

Cashmere is the softest and warmest, made for cold days and evenings at home. Merino is lighter, breathes better and takes daily wear, so it is the one for the office and everyday use. Our wool and cashmere blend sits in between.

Can I wear a knitted hoodie to the office?

Yes. A knitted hoodie in merino or cashmere has a cleaner look than a jersey hoodie. Wear it with a shirt underneath and tailored trousers, or under a blazer.

How do I wash a knitted hoodie?

Air it after wearing instead of washing. When it needs a wash, use a wool programme at 30 degrees or hand wash, dry flat and remove any pilling with a wool comb.

Is a blend as warm as pure cashmere?

Almost. Pure cashmere is a little warmer and softer. The blend is a little stronger and easier to care for. For everyday wear many of our customers prefer the blend.

Can I machine wash wool and cashmere?

Yes, on a wool programme at 30 degrees with a wool detergent. Dry flat. Air it between wears so you wash less often.
