Cashmere beanies for men
Two beanies: the Cashmere Beanie in 100 % cashmere and the Ribbed BA Beanie in 70 % wool and 30 % cashmere. The Cashmere Beanie is a fine ribbed knit, soft enough to wear against the forehead all day, in navy and in undyed silver grey and charcoal. The Ribbed BA Beanie is chunkier, knitted in a 5 gauge rib with a slightly higher brim, in grey, navy, azure blue, red, beige, brown and black. Both come in one size. Designed in Stockholm for the months when the city is cold.
Pure cashmere or wool and cashmere
The Cashmere Beanie is the softest and the lightest, the one for people who find wool beanies itchy or who want a beanie that fits under a hood. The two undyed colours keep the natural tone of the fibre. The Ribbed BA Beanie is thicker and warmer and takes more wear, because the wool holds the rib and the cashmere keeps it soft. The higher brim can be folded once for a cleaner look or left up for more warmth. Choose navy, grey or black to match the knitwear. Choose red, azure blue or beige if you want the beanie to be the one colour in an otherwise dark winter outfit. A red beanie in wool and cashmere with a navy coat is the simplest way to do that.
Fit and care
Both beanies come in one size and stretch to fit. The rib should sit snug without leaving a mark. Wash by hand in cool water with a wool detergent, press the water out in a towel and dry flat, reshaped. Never hang a beanie to dry or put it in the tumble dryer, the rib will stretch or shrink. A little pilling on the Cashmere Beanie in the first weeks is normal and is removed with a cashmere comb.
