Half zip sweaters for men
Two half zips, in two materials. The Wool Cashmere Half Zip is knitted in 90 % merino wool and 10 % cashmere, a 12 gauge plain knit, in grey, denim blue and brown. The Cashfeel Merino Half Zip is knitted in 100 % Cashfeel Merino, our extra fine merino wool, also 12 gauge, in taupe, navy and brown. Both have a stand collar, a short zip at the neck and ribbed cuffs, so you can wear the collar open over a shirt or closed on its own. Every half zip is designed in Stockholm and sold in our store on Grev Turegatan.
Merino or wool and cashmere
The Cashfeel Merino Half Zip is the one for most days. It is light, breathes well and keeps its shape through years of wear, which makes it the half zip for the office, the commute and a walk in October. The Wool Cashmere Half Zip is the softer and slightly warmer of the two. The wool holds the knit and the cashmere makes it smooth against the neck, which you notice with the zip closed. Take the merino if you plan to wear it four days a week, and the wool and cashmere if you want the softer sweater for colder days and evenings out. Brown and navy go with everything else we make. Denim blue and taupe are the colours for lighter trousers and chinos. If you already own a crewneck, the half zip is the next sweater: the same materials, with a collar that frames a shirt and gives the outfit a little more structure.
Fit and care
Both half zips have a regular fit that sits close without being tight. The shoulder seam sits on the shoulder and the hem at the belt, so choose your usual size. The model in the Wool Cashmere Half Zip is 183 cm, weighs 76 kg and wears a medium. The model in the Cashfeel Merino Half Zip is 185 cm, weighs 79 kg and wears a large. Air the sweater between wears, wash on a wool programme at 30 degrees or by hand with the zip closed, dry flat and fold it in the wardrobe.
