Which shorts are best for hot days?

Linen. It is the lightest and most breathable material we use and dries quickly. Knitted cotton shorts are for the city, cashmere shorts for warm evenings at home or on holiday.

How long are the shorts?

They end just above the knee, which is the length that works both by the water and in the city. The waist is elastic with a drawstring, so choose your usual size.

How do I wash knitted shorts?

Cotton and linen shorts go in the machine at 30 degrees and hang to dry. Cashmere shorts are washed on a wool programme or by hand and dried flat. Avoid the tumble dryer.

What does wool and cashmere mean?

A yarn that blends merino wool with cashmere, in our case 90/10 or 70/30. The merino gives strength and shape, the cashmere gives softness and warmth. You get most of the feel of cashmere at a lower price.

How do I care for cashmere?

Air it between wears. Wash on a wool programme at 30 degrees or by hand, dry flat and fold rather than hang. Remove pilling with a cashmere comb. Store it folded, with a cedar block if you keep it over summer.
