Modern Alpine luxury in Switzerland – inside Six Senses

Wood, natural stone and large windows facing the Alpine landscape. At Six Senses Crans-Montana, Swiss chalet tradition meets modern design – with the ski slope outside and a generous spa to return to.

In Valais, Switzerland, lies Crans-Montana, an Alpine destination whose life follows the seasons. Six Senses opened here in 2023, with the ambition of combining activity in the mountains with comfort and recovery.

The hotel's position just above the main gondola in Crans gives direct ski-in/ski-out access via the red Chetzeron piste. It makes skiing a natural part of the stay, from the first run of the morning to the return in the afternoon.

Alpine feeling with a contemporary expression

The 78 rooms and suites have large windows and private terraces that connect the interiors with their surroundings. Local larch, oak, quartzite and slate give the architecture a clear anchoring in the mountains.

The materials create a warm setting after a day outdoors. It is easy to picture the transition: the ski boots are put away, a soft knit goes on and the evening's pace settles in.

A spa worth making time for

The hotel's 2,000 square metre spa is a central part of the experience. Here you will find an indoor pool, saunas and treatments, with room for both a short moment after skiing and a longer break from activities.

The food also offers different expressions. Wild Cabin draws inspiration from European and regional flavours, while Byakko has a Japanese-inspired focus.

A reason to return in summer

When the snow disappears, hiking, mountain biking and golf take over. Six Senses then becomes a base for discovering the same landscape from new angles. Brown Avenue can be found at Six Senses Crans-Montana. Here we offer a curated selection of our garments – soft knitwear that feels just as natural after a day on the slopes as at the evening's dinner. We are proud to be part of the hotel's carefully chosen offering.
